Key Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing site production activities and ensuring operational excellence by directing the planning, execution, and assessment of manufacturing processes to fulfill business objectives related to safety, quality, service, cost efficiency, and workforce development. This position fosters a culture of ongoing improvement and collaborates with the Operational Excellence team to support and implement all corporate strategies. The Manufacturing Operations Leader serves as the primary representative for the Panduit facility and will cultivate strong internal and external relationships with various Panduit Business Units and functions as necessary.

  • Oversee the operational performance of the facility in terms of safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and productivity.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team by partnering with Continuous Improvement leadership and executing operational excellence initiatives along with lean/six sigma practices.
  • Manage the integration of new manufacturing technologies.
  • Formulate the annual business strategy for the facility and ensure robust processes and procedures are established to achieve objectives.
  • Build, lead, and mentor the performance and productivity of the site leadership team, instilling a culture of excellence by inspiring and motivating employees, fostering trust, engagement, and confidence.

Qualifications

  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Experience: 10+ years in a plant management role
  • Required Expertise in:
    • Manufacturing processes
    • Materials management
    • Manufacturing Engineering/Automation
    • Financial/business acumen
    • Team leadership and culture development
