Job Description

At Hand & Stone - Canton, we're seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Treatment Planning: Design specific treatment plans based on client's individual needs, taking into account their medical history, preferences, and goals.
  • Client Experience: Create an excellent experience for members/guests through a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
  • Client Acquisition: Generate new clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships, helping to grow our client base.
  • Facility Maintenance: Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Adhere to state licensing laws and regulations, ensuring you are properly licensed to practice massage therapy in the state of Ohio.
  • Liability Insurance: Carry liability insurance to protect yourself and our clients in case of any accidents or injuries.
  • Communication: Be able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management, and staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Modalities: Have knowledge of Swedish Massage required, and knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue), but not required. Hand and Stone offer training in all modalities to our team members.
  • Belief in Massage Therapy: Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork, and be passionate about helping clients achieve their wellness goals.
