Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Physical Therapist, you will:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians.
  • Perform regular assessments and document patient progress at least every six therapy sessions.
  • Deliver therapeutic services aimed at enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing or minimizing permanent physical disabilities.
  • Oversee the work of physical therapist assistants (PTAs) to ensure adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Guide technicians and aides in their patient care responsibilities, ensuring compliance with their scope of practice.
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, patient responses, and relevant information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through clear and consistent communication with patients.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, conditioning, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the essential duties, you will:
  • Prepare reports for disability and other necessary documentation for physician providers.
  • Manage inventory and order medical supplies as directed by the Rehabilitation Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Active Georgia State License from the Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Preferred: Specialty certifications, particularly in orthopedics.
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in an orthopedic treatment setting.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy practices for orthopedic injuries and conditions.
  • Ability to formulate and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.
  • Proficient in documenting care and maintaining patient records for electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to foster collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with patients and their families.
  • Willingness to travel between various site locations, if necessary.
  • Valid Georgia driver's license with a driving history that meets company standards.
