About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to prioritize individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease.

As a Dialysis Patient Care Technician, you will work closely with our clinical staff to provide top-notch patient care and support throughout the dialysis treatment process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in infection control and risk management activities
  • Guiding new patients through our 120-day education plan
  • Obtaining and recording patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
  • Setting up and breaking down dialysis blood systems for treatment
  • Inserting and removing patient access needles
  • Monitoring patients during dialysis and documenting changes
  • Calculating patient weight loss to reach dry weight
  • Determining patient care priorities and organizing workload accordingly
  • Maintaining professional working relationships and observing patient privacy and rights
  • Maintaining and tracking inventory
  • Performing laboratory work
