We are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join our expanding team.
This role presents a unique opportunity for a dynamic finance professional to adopt a CFO mindset within a business unit.
The ideal candidate will leverage their financial expertise, leadership capabilities, and business insight.
In this fast-paced and entrepreneurial setting, the CFO will act as a strategic partner to the President, enhancing traditional financial processes while providing essential visibility into the business and driving towards key objectives.
The CFO will report directly to the Business Unit President of Scientific Products' global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as an integral member of the Business Unit leadership team, leading the finance function.
• Act as a strategic partner to business leadership on financial and strategic matters to foster global growth.
• Ensure financial activities align with strategic direction to maximize profitability.
• Enhance financial value by supporting strategy execution and annual planning, including capital deployment and understanding ROI and KPIs.
• Provide essential financial management information to support informed business decisions.
• Communicate proactively to highlight opportunities and share strategic insights.
• Deliver timely and accurate budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
• Foster positive relationships with the finance team and internal stakeholders.
Candidate Qualifications:
The CFO must possess strong operational and strategic financial experience, including:
• Proven experience as a business unit CFO with at least 8 years in financial analysis, cost accounting, and financial planning.
• Demonstrated ability to partner strategically with a General Manager on financial issues supporting global growth.
• Experience leading finance functions in manufacturing environments, particularly with engineered products.
• Expertise in operating finance, financial planning and analysis, and merger & acquisition support.
• International experience is essential; M&A experience is a plus.
