Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of products at our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

This is a part-time position, working a PM Shift 5pm-10pm (Sunday-Friday). If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain management, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategically manage warehouse operations to ensure compliance with company policies and vision
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the logistics ecosystem to drive process improvements
  • Serve as a liaison between logistics partners and carriers to ensure seamless operations
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and 3PL operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources
  • Setup and maintain warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and workflow
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures to drive productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the warehouse environment
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to optimize budget and drive business growth
  • Liaise with drivers, employees, customer service, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees to drive team performance and engagement
  • Monitor and address package and driver issues as they arise
  • Be able to frequently move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff effectively
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders
  • Preferred BS degree in a related field
