Production Operator Job Description

At Continental, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in Somersworth, NH. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating up to 5 workstations/cells to produce parts in accordance with equipment specifications, SOPs, and Work Instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure equipment setup is completed in accordance with Work Instructions and follow the process correctly.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure produced parts meet specifications and quality requirements.
  • Operate production equipment in accordance with daily and weekly production plans.
  • Ensure all materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods are properly identified with labels at all steps in the process.
  • Maintain a clean workspace, including housekeeping and cleanliness, adhering to 5S work environment standards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to complete basic data entry in computer systems and basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions.
  • Good attention to detail and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
