Key Responsibilities- Design and develop automated manufacturing systems, including layout, equipment selection, and programming
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for automation and implement solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation for automated systems, including user manuals and maintenance procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems, including equipment malfunctions and software errors
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technology
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in automation engineering or a related field
- Programming experience in languages such as C# or Python
- Strong understanding of automation systems, including PLCs, HMI, and SCADA
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
The Manufacturing Automation Engineer will work in a production environment, with occasional travel to manufacturing sites and vendor locations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
