Biochemistry Professor

A.T. Still University's School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) is seeking a full-time exempt Professor of Biochemistry at the Assistant or Associate level on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position will contribute to the mission of ATSU-SOMA and educate medical students in the area of biochemistry.

• Develop and teach biochemistry courses to medical students.
• Conduct research and scholarly activities in the field of biochemistry.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to create and develop educational materials.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees.
• Engage in community-based research and scholarly activities.

• Terminal degree (PhD or DSc) in biochemistry or molecular biology.
• Teaching experience in higher education.
• Demonstrated exceptional teaching or facilitation ability.
• Ability to engage students in their learning of biochemistry.
