Job Overview

Eliassen Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Platforms Technology team, you will play a critical role in crafting, building, testing, and delivering features that drive client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.
  • Lead the development of complex software applications using Java, Spring, and middle-tier restful services.
  • Integrate with APIs and implement secure coding standards and practices.
  • Work with Automation Tools/Frameworks and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, and uDeploy.
  • Deploy applications in a DevOps environment and ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and contribute to the development of new features and solutions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Developer.
  • 7+ years of Client-side language, library, and framework proficiency in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS.
  • 3+ years of software development experience using Java, Spring, middle-tier restful services.
  • Experience integrating with APIs with a strong understanding of RESTful web services.
  • Strong Experience with Automation Tools/Frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure or AWS/EKS.
  • Experienced with secure coding standards and practices.
  • Knowledge in GraphQL, Apache Camel would be a nice to have.
  • Knowledge of architecture and design patterns to build highly scalable and resilient systems.
  • The ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Ability to work on sophisticated technical and functional analysis tasks.
  • A self-starter, who actively challenges status-quo, is curious and not afraid to ask "Why" and "What if"?
  • Have an approach of test first development and are experienced in modern test frameworks.
  • Lead all aspects of application upgrades and assist with platform implementations.
  • Proactively identify potential issues with applications as they are developed.
  • Generates new viewpoints and break through ideas to build value.
  • Experience in communicating technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team members, product owners, and partners.

Education Requirements:

Bachelors in Comp Science / equivalent.
