Job Title: Career Coach, Disability Services

At Jewish Vocational Service (JVS), we are committed to empowering individuals from diverse communities to find employment and build careers. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Coach to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Career Coach, Disability Services will provide job readiness training to individuals with disabilities, focusing on on-the-job training, pre-employment job readiness skills, and training employer partners on working effectively with individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement job readiness training programs for individuals with disabilities
  • Provide one-on-one and group coaching to participants on job search-related activities
  • Collaborate with employer partners to develop job opportunities and provide training on disability awareness and inclusion
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, tracking participant progress and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and web-based resources to support participants
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in workforce development or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with barriers to employment
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
  • A deep commitment to disability inclusion in the workforce
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with staff and clients from diverse cultural, socio-economic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds
