Key Responsibilities:
This role involves conducting intricate audit activities for various Lines of Business (LOBs). The primary responsibilities include:
- Independently designing and executing comprehensive audit tests.
- Evaluating issues for their impact on business operations and providing recommendations on severity ratings.
- Building and maintaining relationships with business partners.
- Assessing the control environment and fostering an inclusive workplace.
- Utilizing product, business, and technical expertise to support team members' growth and development.
Specific Duties Include:
- Implementing audit strategies that ensure effective risk-based auditing through defined scopes and programs, while leveraging innovative methods for timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Applying deep knowledge of products and business processes to challenge management effectively and enhance the control environment.
- Providing insights on draft audit reports and communicating findings with business leaders.
- Facilitating the professional development of peers through mentorship and training.
- Utilizing advanced tools to streamline audit processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in audit, compliance, business controls, or risk management, particularly with trading desk activities across Equities or Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities.
- Strong background in audit or risk control within the financial services sector.
- Proficient analytical and automation skills (e.g., SQL, SAS, Excel, Access).
- Bachelor's degree.
