We are seeking a skilled Lactation Consultant I to provide clinical care support and education to breastfeeding mothers and their babies. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of clinical experience in breastfeeding and a graduate nursing degree. The Lactation Consultant will also provide consultative support and education to nursing and medical staff and community breastfeeding support groups. Key responsibilities include providing clinical care support and education to breastfeeding mothers and their babies, as well as consultative support and education to nursing and medical staff and community breastfeeding support groups. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and facilitation of learning, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment. The position requires a Registered Nurse license and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification within 1 year of hire. The work schedule includes weekend nights, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with every weekend required. Call requirements are as needed.
