ERP Integration Engineer

At WD-40 Company, we're seeking a skilled ERP Integration Engineer to join our team. As an ERP Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in connecting various software systems, databases, and applications within our organization globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of system integration projects to ensure seamless interoperability between various software applications, hardware systems, and IT infrastructures.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, software development, and business units, to gather integration requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Support ERP system upgrades, ensuring upgrades do not impact ISVs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ISV-related issues, providing technical support and maintaining a log of system problems and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with ISVs for system integration and updates, facilitating and maintaining relationships between ISVs, negotiating contracts, and finding the best available vendors.
  • Analyze business processes and ERP system capabilities, identifying opportunities for enhancements or new functionalities.
  • Evaluate new technologies and integration tools to enhance the organization's integration capabilities and support future growth and scalability needs.
  • Ensure the optimal performance and alignment of the ERP system with business processes.
  • Develop and implement integration strategies, architectures, and platforms to facilitate efficient and secure data exchange and workflow across different systems.
  • Facilitate training sessions and create documentation for end-users to ensure effective and efficient system utilization.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience with ERP systems and integrating third-party APIs or ISVs.
  • Substantial experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
  • In-depth understanding of business processes and the ability to apply software automation principles with current tools to solve known business challenges.
  • Superior project management skills.
  • Knowledge of end-user support and other industry-standard techniques and practices.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute routine and non-routine tasks and ad hoc requests to meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • The following certifications are a plus: PMP, ERP, ITIL.
