Bestica is seeking a highly skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Florida. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work with our team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural heart procedures, including TAVR, mitral clips, ASD, and PFOs. Additionally, pediatric cath lab experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and technical support in the cath lab
- Assist with structural heart procedures, including TAVR, mitral clips, ASD, and PFOs
- Work with pediatric patients in the cath lab
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong experience with Stimming required
- Scrub, Monitor, Circulate, EKG skills required
- Balloon angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Rotablader, Left/Right heart catheterization experience required
- Arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, electrophysiology evaluation, insertion/programming of AICDs, LAA closure, pacemaker insertion, watchman, Tilt Table Study, Afib ablations RF, Afib ablations Cryo experience required
- Cerner EMR preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required
