Interim Director of Accounting Operations

Our client, a financial technology company, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Interim Director of Accounting Operations. This position requires a strong leader who can manage various aspects of accounting operations, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Procure to Pay: Supervise a team of 1 manager and 2 analysts.
  • Oversee Order to Cash: Lead a team of 3.
  • Supervise Payroll: Manage 2 consultants.
  • Work cross-functionally with various business areas.
  • Handle high volumes of billings.
  • Assist in the process of outsourcing part of the accounting function to a managed services provider.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Accounting Operations, including managing Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Payroll.
  • Experience working at a global company.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with a managed services provider for accounting operations (preferred but not required).
  • Experience with Oracle or Intacct (preferred but not required).
Compensation:

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors, including the individual's skill sets, experience, and training, as well as other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position: $100 - $115 per hour.
