Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements to ensure timely completion of job assignments.
  • Team Leadership: Interpret specifications to workers, assign duties, and establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee in-bound and outbound inventory control, and perform activities of workers supervised.
  • Quality Control: Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
  • Employee Development: Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain time and production records, and estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, lift, bend, kneel, twist, for duration of an eight-hour shift.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer/math skills and forklift experience.
  • Additional Requirements: Must pass pre-employment screening and be willing to work occasional overtime on weekends to meet business demands.
