As a Senior Analyst for Quantitative Risk and Model Development within PNC's Balance Sheet Analytics & Modeling team, you will engage in utilizing statistical methodologies and advanced data engineering capabilities to enhance growth and manage credit risk across PNC's financial portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

• Extracting and enhancing data from relational databases

• Conducting statistical evaluations on extensive datasets

• Developing and overseeing models to pinpoint balance sheet risks and opportunities

You will collaborate with essential stakeholders to discover avenues for growth and risk management within the company's balance sheet, employing data and statistical techniques to create tools and models that facilitate informed business decisions.

Proficiency in relational databases, SQL, Python, and Spark is highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities
  • Independently conducts sophisticated quantitative analyses and model development to inform strategic decision-making through quantitative strategies. Provides recommendations based on analytical findings.
  • Analyzes and formulates new model frameworks in support of business operations. Refines, monitors, and reviews existing models while maintaining ongoing communication with model owners and developers throughout the review process. Works with complex datasets to create effective models.
  • Performs quantitative analysis and generates comprehensive reports. Evaluates both qualitative and quantitative aspects of models, including theoretical foundations, design, implementation, and data quality. Analyzes intricate data and associated quantitative assessments, making recommendations based on analytical insights.
  • Utilizes quantitative tools and methodologies to assess and analyze model risks, drawing conclusions regarding the strengths and limitations of the models.
  • Prepares and reviews detailed documentation for validation and regulatory compliance, adhering to established templates.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000 - $157,300. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is eligible for incentives based on company, business, and individual performance.
