Role Summary:
The Production Equipment Technician is responsible for operating various light-duty machine tools and equipment while ensuring the proper management of raw material inventory within the production area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute fundamental machining operations including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and deburring, alongside all bench-related tasks, including inspection.
- Fabricate and detail a diverse range of small components to meet specified requirements.
- Conduct finishing processes such as electro-polishing, ultrasonic cleaning, and media tumbling.
- Maintain close tolerances with the aid of standard jigs and fixtures.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of relevant safety protocols and regulations.
- Complete necessary documentation and engage in continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
- Foster productive relationships with team members while upholding high standards of quality and safety.
- Manage the receipt and inventory of raw materials for the production area.
- Perform cleaning and inventory management tasks for tools.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- This is an entry-level position requiring minimal prior experience.
- Tasks are clearly outlined and performed under close supervision with limited independence.
