Role Summary:

The Production Equipment Technician is responsible for operating various light-duty machine tools and equipment while ensuring the proper management of raw material inventory within the production area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute fundamental machining operations including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and deburring, alongside all bench-related tasks, including inspection.
  • Fabricate and detail a diverse range of small components to meet specified requirements.
  • Conduct finishing processes such as electro-polishing, ultrasonic cleaning, and media tumbling.
  • Maintain close tolerances with the aid of standard jigs and fixtures.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of relevant safety protocols and regulations.
  • Complete necessary documentation and engage in continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
  • Foster productive relationships with team members while upholding high standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage the receipt and inventory of raw materials for the production area.
  • Perform cleaning and inventory management tasks for tools.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • This is an entry-level position requiring minimal prior experience.
  • Tasks are clearly outlined and performed under close supervision with limited independence.
