Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Atmus Filtration Technologies, Inc. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely transporting products within the warehouse, utilizing prescribed safety equipment and operating powered industrial equipment and machinery according to specified instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Utilize prescribed safety equipment and operate powered industrial equipment and machinery according to specified instructions. Demonstrate the ability to recognize potential safety hazards.
  • Product Movement: Safely transport products within the warehouse using PIVs - powered industrial vehicles.
  • Picking and Packing: Using an RF scanner, pick customer orders in a safe and efficient manner using established quality picking processes.
  • Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts to ensure the site maintains location/piece/financial accuracy as required by Cummins corporate standards.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Unload domestic and international supplier shipments and ensure the products are put-away in their respective part-family locations within the allotted time.
  • Load Preparation: Shrink-wrap, label, and load palletized products into outbound trailers.
  • International Shipping: Shrink-wrap, label, weigh, load pallets into international containers per SOLAS regulations.
  • Documentation and Dispatch: Systemically close, dispatch outbound shipments, and provide completed paperwork to shipping clerk.
  • Replenishment and Restocking: Replenish product from storage locations to pick faces as directed by the WMS system.
  • Team Lift Operations: Assist other pickers in team lift operation when picking products over 50 lbs. to ensure the safety of our employees.
  • Certification and Training: Maintain certification to operate one or more types of PIV used in the distribution center.
  • Physical Demands: Frequent lifting, occasionally team-lift parts over 50 lbs. Frequent walking, pushing, kneeling, stooping, bending, and squatting.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Operate PIV battery changer, change batteries, and floor scrubber as requested by operations throughout the day.
  • Pallet Staging: Maintain pallet staging areas for good and bad pallets. Unload good pallets from trailer and stage in the good pallet staging area for operations. Load bad pallets from bad pallet staging area into trailer for removal.
