ROLE OVERVIEW

The Culinary Services Team plays a vital role in enhancing the dining experience for our residents. We are looking for passionate individuals to fill the following positions:

Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in meal preparation and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. This role involves receiving and organizing supplies, serving meals, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Daily interactions with residents are a key aspect of this position, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.

Cook Supervisor

The Cook Supervisor oversees the dietary team, ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards. This role includes meal preparation tailored to residents' dietary needs, collaborating with the Dietary Manager to fulfill resident requests, and assisting in inventory management. The Cook Supervisor also plays a crucial role in planning and executing special events within the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and manage inventory effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Attention to detail and the capability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
