Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Flux Resources is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team of subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise project site and ensure adequate manpower is provided by subcontractors for each task being performed.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Communicate with project team regarding project drawings, RFI's, shop drawings, and material submittals.
  • Communicate with client daily about project schedule/progress and safety concerns.
  • Participate in QC audits reports, assist in work plan and QC plan development.
  • Manage the construction job site and ensure all aspects of the project are completed safely, technically, and within established schedules and budgets.
  • Act as liaison with project manager, owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and/or internal departments on technical, safety, and quality related matters.
  • Prepare 3-week look-ahead schedules based on the baseline schedule and provide ongoing scheduling input to project management staff.
  • Coordinate daily activities for all subcontractors at any stage of construction.
  • Ensure all parties follow all safety procedures and practices according to both OSHA and company requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma plus minimum 5+ years of construction/quality control experience.
  • Ability to manage and lead multiple subcontractors.
  • Must be able to conduct site visits and provide oversight for multiple projects throughout each day.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Able to meet time-sensitive deadlines and carry out multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of construction and project management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Construction Quality Management Certification.
  • OSHA 30-hour training and HAZWOPER.
  • First Aid & CPR.

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000-$130,000 a year. Actual starting pay is dependent upon experience, education, or other bona fide factors. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
