Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the planning, designing, and documentation of in-person training sessions, complete with reference materials and standardized assessments that have measurable goals and outcomes.
- Facilitates training sessions and conveys complex information to diverse customer groups using various instructional methods tailored to the participants' knowledge and skill levels. This may include classroom instruction, video-based learning, and virtual conferencing.
- Utilizes instructional design principles and adult learning theories in course development.
- Collaborates with Sales and Marketing teams to identify training needs, as well as gathers insights from customer feedback.
- Creates and curates training materials, including handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia aids, computer tutorials, and reference documents.
- Translates both new and existing training materials, videos, and online modules to ensure consistent messaging across training platforms.
- Coordinates necessary administrative tasks to deliver and document training programs effectively.
- Reviews training programs and suggests modifications to instructional objectives and methods.
- Engages with industry stakeholders to support training initiatives and participates in company meetings and customer engagements.
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with customers, industry partners, and relevant organizations.
- Develops impactful training sessions and materials covering pertinent products, including troubleshooting guidance, while effectively communicating the features and benefits of these products.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in irrigation, landscape design, or landscape lighting.
- A minimum of five years in a technical service role within the relevant industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish, and other relevant languages.
- Strong presentation abilities with the capacity to engage a wide range of audiences.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 Suite.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills, capable of independently managing multiple projects within deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams and various industry partners.
- Adaptable to changing organizational needs while delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Possesses a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets insurance requirements.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
