Overview: Workbox Staffing is seeking a dedicated Saw Operator to contribute to our operations. This role is essential for ensuring precision in cutting metal products to specified dimensions.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with industrial saws or within the construction sector is mandatory.
  • Must be capable of standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a dusty environment.
  • Forklift operation experience is a significant advantage.
Skills Required:
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting a tape measure.
  • Competent in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities: As a Saw Operator, your primary duty will involve utilizing a large industrial saw to accurately cut metal products. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in order fulfillment.
  • Conducting inventory counts.
  • Locating and retrieving items for orders.
  • Preparing products for shipment.
  • Supporting production activities as required.
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned.
