Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Dermatology Clinic - Pasadena. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and supporting our doctors in delivering top-notch dermatology services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to patients, including phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and anesthetic monitoring
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as surgery and wound care
  • Prepare and restrain animals during procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about their pets' care and treatment
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient histories and treatment plans
  • Participate in cross-training for front office receptionist duties, including telephone and computer skills
Requirements
  • Previous experience or training in a veterinary facility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Physical stamina to lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods
