Optum Hospitalist Program Administrator

At Optum, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality healthcare. As a Hospitalist Program Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Hospitalist Program, including overseeing staff and budget.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with medical directors and senior leadership to prepare and implement budgets.
  • Represent the program at public and professional meetings and conferences.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of systems and processes that support program operations.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of healthcare operations/program administration experience.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of Medicare Advantage quality operations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, both locally and non-locally, as determined by business need.
  • Exceptional analytical and data representation expertise.
