About the Role

Harlingen Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech I to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Radiology Tech I, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the accomplishment of imaging needs for patients and customers.
  • Participate in quality improvement and quality control activities to maintain high standards of care.
  • Process and transmit images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Requirements
  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
  • ARRT-R certification is required.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
