We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Partnership Specialist to join our team at the Michelle Humes Group. As a key member of our mortgage team, you will play a crucial role in helping our applicants get mortgage ready and supporting them throughout the loan process.
Key Responsibilities- Loan Package Verification: Ensure all loan package documents are accurate and complete, and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer or loan originator.
- Customer Support: Handle customer and in-house inquiries about transactions to ensure a smooth process and exceptional customer service.
- Documentation Coordination: Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned mortgage loan originator, conducting meetings to coordinate follow-up items.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including screening and making calls, booking appointments, and other tasks as needed.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent customer service and communication skills, with a willingness to go above and beyond for customers and team members.
- Professional Experience: At least 5+ years of professional office experience, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant.
- Industry Knowledge: Advanced comprehension of loan financing options, including conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, commercial loans, and other relevant mortgage products.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, with some experience in CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred.
