Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Automotive Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, mentoring junior technicians, and driving team performance to meet customer satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers and colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies through continuous paid training and professional development.
  • Assist and train junior technicians in performing technical activities.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive company vehicles.
  • Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a vocational-technical school program, or demonstrated skills via third-party certifications.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 5 areas is required.
  • Maintain Federal, State, and Local certifications and licenses as applicable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
