We are seeking a highly motivated Biomedical Informatics Research Fellow to join our team at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for investigating literature to identify existing solutions to data analysis, developing and applying state-of-the-art algorithms and models to genetics, genomics, and clinical data, designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses with applied statistics, analyzing and interpreting results, and presenting research progress to meetings with PIs.
Job Description- Research (65%)
- Investigate literature to identify existing solutions to data analysis
- Develop and apply state-of-the-art algorithms and models to genetics, genomics, and clinical data
- Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses with applied statistics
- Analyze and interpret results, present research progress to meetings with PIs, and publish results to peer-reviewed manuscripts in conference proceedings and journals
- Develop research proposal and apply for funding
- Assist PI with grant writing
- Salary
We offer an estimated salary range of $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
