Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Network Engineer to join our team at C4 Technical Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network systems for our financial services clients.

In this role, you will work closely with our clients and engineering teams to deliver high-quality network solutions that meet their business needs. You will have the opportunity to apply your advanced engineering and networking skills to solve complex problems and issues, and will be regarded as a subject matter expert in your field.

About the Role

This is a hybrid position in our NY, NJ, and CT market, requiring you to be onsite at the customer location once a week. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Designing and implementing complex network systems for our financial services clients.
  • Troubleshooting network issues and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability and validation of features, functions, and behavior.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in a trading environment.
  • Expert-level knowledge of network architecture, routing, switching, network automation, and various routing and network switching technologies and protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
