About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Culinary Manager to join our team at Horseshoe Bay Resort. As a key leader in our culinary department, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales reports to drive revenue growth and profitability* Lead a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities* Implement menu changes, promotions, and seasonal offerings to meet changing guest preferences* Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute marketing campaigns, social media promotions, and loyalty programs* Foster a culture of innovation and creativity, encouraging experimentation and learning within the culinary team* Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers, suppliers, and vendors to source fresh, high-quality ingredients* Oversee kitchen maintenance, sanitation, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards* Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to drive efficiency and productivity* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as food cost percentages, labor hours, and guest satisfaction scores*
