Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at the Delta Hotel Green Bay, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-quality restaurant facilities and be able to prepare sauces, with good grilling skills. A strong understanding of food and beverage preparation and service is also essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Cooking and Preparation: Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and as specified on guest check and following company and brand standards, to ensure consistency of product and achieve high guest satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
  • Quality Control: Visually inspect, select, and use only food items of the highest standard in the preparation of all menu items.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Must have extensive experience in high-quality restaurant facilities.
  • Skills: Good grilling skills, ability to prepare sauces, knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc).
Work Environment

This role requires working in extreme temperatures like freezers (-10 degrees F) and kitchens (+110 degrees F), possible for one hour or more. The worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $16-18 per hour or higher based on experience.
