Senior Firmware Engineer

Role: Senior Firmware Engineer

Location: New Jersey (Hybrid)

In Technology Group Inc (US) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer to join their dynamic team based in the North New Jersey area. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, they are designing smart products using cutting-edge IoT technology.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and participate in schematic/PCB design and firmware architecture decisions involving IoT (Wifi/Bluetooth) Product Development.
  • Develop and maintain firmware for IoT products, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in firmware development.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in firmware development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • Experience working on IoT products, ideally AWS IoT.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware-software integration.
  • Extensive experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle).
  • Experience with microcontrollers and microprocessors (Ideally Espressif/ESP32).
  • Hands on experience working with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing products from concept to market.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
