Job Summary

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Garden City, Kansas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts, and vascular exams.
  • Produce high-quality images in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare patients for exams, provide information and instruction, and respond to their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during exams, position them, and observe their condition.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, students, and hospital staff to facilitate the continuum of care.
  • Perform IV starts and contrast administration as required.
  • Assist with patient transport and maintain a clean work area.
  • Maintain technical operation of equipment, notify service when necessary, and log service calls.
  • Participate in clinical training for students and staff technologists, engage in professional activities, and represent the organization through volunteer activities.
  • Adhere to all State, Federal, accreditation, and hospital regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technologies, policies, and regulations.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
