Skyline Med Staff Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Conduct imaging procedures, including ultrasound, X-ray, and CT scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Analyze images to identify any abnormalities or issues, and report findings to radiologists or other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures, including images, reports, and patient information.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- At least 1 year of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
