Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate behavioral health RN to join our team in providing much-needed care where it matters most – in patients' homes.
- Perform initial nursing evaluations, including behavioral health/psychiatric nursing needs.
- Observe and evaluate patients' physical and mental status for complications and medication side effects.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current RN license specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
- One of the following qualifications to meet CMS requirements for psychiatric nursing in the home care setting:
- An RN with a master's degree in a mental health nursing or psychiatric specialty and relevant experience in an acute treatment unit or other psychiatric setting.
- An RN with a bachelor's degree in nursing and one year of recent nursing experience in an acute treatment unit or other psychiatric setting.
- An RN with a diploma or associate's degree in nursing and two years of recent nursing experience in an acute treatment unit or other psychiatric setting.
- Current CPR certification and valid driver's license.
