Physical Therapist Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team as an Assistant Supervisor, Physical Therapy - Ambulatory Care Center. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating physical therapy needs and implementing comprehensive, medically prescribed physical treatment to assigned patients in a supervises program of rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Implement medically prescribed physical treatment to assigned patients in a supervises program of rehabilitation
- Assist the clinical supervisor in organizing unit activities and implementing clinical teaching sessions to staff and students
- Perform initial assessments and evaluations of physical therapy needs for assigned patient populations
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of patients and families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Participate in clinical education and training of students and staff
- Complete all required documentation for patient care and reimbursement
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- New York State Physical Therapy License or temporary permit
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of two years experience as a Physical Therapist
- BLS certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA) OR Heartsaver CPR/AED certification (Issued by the American Heart Association-AHA)
- Master's Degree or DPT in Physical Therapy or related field
