Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Field Engineer for our TechOps team. This role is crucial as you will represent Yorktel's TechOps Service on-site, addressing and resolving a variety of issues related to video conferencing technologies and fully integrated audiovisual systems within corporate settings.

Your responsibilities will include working autonomously or in collaboration with the TechOps Service Desk to analyze user-reported issues and monitoring alerts, gathering necessary information to facilitate effective resolutions.

When not engaged in field dispatch, you will assist the TechOps Desk in generating essential documentation from recent service calls and providing remote support based on your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with project teams to communicate client-specific issues and recommend solutions.
2. Address complex technical inquiries and provide detailed responses regarding issue resolutions.
3. Safeguard all confidential information in accordance with company policies.
4. Document findings from client interactions for thorough Root Cause Analysis.
5. Deliver comprehensive post-service documentation, including network configurations and updated programming details.
6. Install, replace, and configure integrated system components, ensuring operational status prior to client acceptance.
7. Maintain timely communication regarding dispatch status and any issues affecting service requests.
8. Conduct hands-on training for clients to enhance their understanding and reduce service requests.

Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication abilities are essential. Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field, specifically in installing and troubleshooting control systems, audio optimization, and video signal routing.

Proficiency in network technologies and device-level networking is required, along with experience using tools such as Crestron Toolbox and Extron Global Configurator.

Physical Requirements:
This role may involve occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and requires the ability to work in various physical environments.
