Role Overview
The comprehensive cardiology division is rapidly growing, focusing on delivering exceptional care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
The Advanced Practice Provider in this position will play a crucial role in managing a diverse patient demographic, employing a collaborative approach to provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care.
This role allows for collaboration with physician support while also granting professional independence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with heart-related issues.
- Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Create and execute personalized treatment strategies.
- Offer continuous care and follow-up for patients with ongoing heart conditions.
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in Minnesota and certification as a:
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
- Alternatively, a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification and licensure as a PA in Minnesota.
- Eligibility for DEA registration and billing privileges is required.
- Experience in cardiology is preferred but not mandatory.
- External Applicants: Please submit two letters of reference with your application.
- New Graduates: Include two letters of reference, with at least one from a clinical preceptor.
- Mayo Clinic Employees: Submit the last three years of performance evaluations along with at least one letter of recommendation.
Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with no weekend or on-call responsibilities.
Exemption Status: Exempt
Compensation Details: Salary considerations will be based on education, experience, and tenure, along with internal equity.
