Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will work closely with consultant MDs, residents, APPs, and nurses to provide comprehensive oncologic care to patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in oncology and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. They will be responsible for comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, comprehensive patient education, and psychosocial support of the patient and family experiencing cancer.

As a Radiation Oncology APP, you will have the opportunity for both collaborative and independent practice. You will work with a patient population primarily consisting of GI cancer, but may also assist with cross-coverage for various other malignancies.

To be eligible for this role, you must have a Master's prepared graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program, or a graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. You must also be certified as an FNP, ANP, or ACNP, and registered as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. BLS certification is required, and you must be eligible for DEA registration.
