The Human Resources Intern will provide support to the HR Department at Stellar Industries Inc. This role will assist with various business needs related to HR support and involve daily interaction and collaboration across all departments within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain exposure to the job responsibilities of HR at the company headquarters and satellite locations.
  • Partner with the HR team to analyze, review, and propose program and process changes regarding interns and the internship program.
  • Support the utilization and efficiency of the HRIS system.
  • Assist with onboarding functions, including sending new hire documents, creating onboarding folders, requesting access, and setting up orientation schedules.
  • Assist HR generalists with leader and employee support as issues arise.
  • Assist with document updates, project coordination, and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong desire to learn and enjoy computing and graphic design.
  • Ability to follow established procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Quick learner and efficient.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying business, marketing, human resources, or a related field.
