Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide school health services as directed by department and contracts, ensuring the highest level of care for students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records, documenting services rendered and ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in educational efforts, collaborating with hospital staff and school authorities to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
  • Communicate effectively with management, parents/guardians, and allied personnel, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Demonstrate expertise in pediatric nursing, with a focus on physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of students.
  • Stay current with departmental, school, state, and federal policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Registered Nurse licensure and BLS certification.
  • Minimum of one year experience in healthcare, with a preference for experience in pediatric nursing and school settings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or similar software, with experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule to accommodate school hours and student needs.
