Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado.

As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the mental health needs of our patients.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide emotional support and counseling, and facilitate patient education and advocacy.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients with mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
  • Facilitate patient education and advocacy to promote health and wellness
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related human services field, preferred
  • One year experience in an acute care setting, mental health, human services or related
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Knowledge of therapeutic interventions and ability to apply them in a clinical setting
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records
Work Environment

This role is based at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, a Level I Trauma Center with a state-of-the-art medical campus.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
