Henderson, Nevada, United States Red Dog Media Full time

Title:
Conversion Rate Optimization Project Manager

Job Type:
Full Time In Office
  • Location: Henderson, Nevada
  • Disclaimers:
  • This is not a remote position.
  • We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
Salary:
$75,000 - $125,000 / year

About the Role:
Are you prepared to make a significant impact? Picture the influence (and responsibility) of shaping the experience of countless website visitors each month. This is the essence of our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) department at Red Dog Media, a leading performance marketing firm. The mission of CRO is to convert post-click web traffic into profitable revenue through a high volume of quality A/B experiments. This mission is vital to our performance and growth.

To thrive in this role, we seek a CRO Project Manager who is eager to engage in an experimentation program that is evolving from high performing to world-class.

This position is ideal for an individual with 2-4 years of CRO experience, 2-4 years of digital project management, and the design capabilities to transform A/B experiment concepts into reality.

Being part of a small department means your contributions will be highly visible and your value unmistakable. You will not feel like just another cog in the machine here.

Your Impact:
Oversee the consistent and timely advancement of experiments from conception to completion by:
  • Maintaining the department's backlog of A/B test ideas & ensuring it is consistently populated
  • Assisting with the evaluation and prioritization of test ideas
  • Driving concepts from ideation to the prioritized stage to ensure a continuous flow of experiments ready for the development team
  • Creating clear, professional mockups and documentation for assigned experiments
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure clarity and agreement on experiment scope, requirements, and launch timelines
  • Monitoring live experiment results daily to identify any anomalies
  • Tracking the outcomes of concluded experiments and working with the department lead to document findings and identify potential follow-up tests
  • Additional responsibilities include:
  • Leading weekly meeting preparations: ensuring documentation is updated; attending/contributing to meetings and compiling notes and follow-ups
  • Conducting regular competitive/comparative site audits
  • Contributing your own experiment ideas based on audits, data and analytics, consumer behavior, and other sources.

A Day In Your Life:
As our CRO Project Manager, your daily activities will vary but will be focused on propelling A/B experiments forward. This may involve generating ideas, creating mockups, collaborating with stakeholders, enhancing processes or documentation, advancing your CRO skill set, and more.

We believe this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and appreciates variety in their workday.

If you prefer a highly repetitive and structured routine, this role may not be suitable for you.

About You:
Our team is a diverse mix of backgrounds, valuing varied experiences over specific qualifications. We prioritize potential and alignment with our core values:
  • Be a Problem Solver, Be Curious, Be a Championship Teammate, and Be Better Than Yesterday over prior CRO experience.
If you believe your skills could transfer well to this role and the following traits resonate with you, we encourage you to consider this opportunity:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher with 2-4 years of project management experience in a digital context such as e-commerce, marketing, or product.
  • Experience with at least one project tracking platform like Jira, Asana, Azure, etc.
  • Intermediate proficiency with image editing and graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc. with 2-4 years' experience in CRO, ideally encompassing the full A/B testing lifecycle: experiment ideation, generating testable hypotheses, building & prioritizing a backlog, creating requirements and mockups for developers, test QA and monitoring, and interpreting test results.
  • Comfortable building and enhancing processes and documentation to optimize project delivery.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, development, and compliance.
  • A desire to enhance your education and skills to help build a world-class CRO program.

Bonus Skills:
Prior experience, training, or certifications in web analytics (GA4, Adobe Analytics, etc.)

Prior experience, training, or certifications in UI/UX research or design.

Benefits:

Group health care insurance - 100% of employee premium paid by the company. Dental & vision insurance available (optional). 401k plan with immediate vesting up to 5% once eligible. Unmetered PTO - encouraged to take 3 weeks of PTO per year.

Perks:
Beautiful office space with live plants and floor-to-ceiling windows. All hardware and software tools provided. Employee development opportunities - courses, certifications, workshops, etc. provided to invest in our employees' growth. In-office professional chef - prepares breakfast and lunch daily. Requested beverages and snacks stocked. In-office gym space available to all employees. Employee appreciation program. Team Time hangouts - each employee eligible for $200/month reimbursed for social activities outside of work. Annual company parties. Regular donations to charity.
