Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food according to specifications, adhering to portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental policies, while ensuring proper labeling, dating, and wrapping of food items in compliance with ServSafe guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with the chef regarding instructions or training needs.
  • Maintain compliance with health codes and sanitation regulations, following all safety and kitchen procedures.
  • Keep food, utensils, and equipment organized and clean.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties, including end-of-day inventory as per guidelines.
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to read and understand prep sheets and follow detailed instructions.
  • Proficiency in using kitchen tools safely, including knives and small equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be capable of lifting 20 lbs or more and standing or bending for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, and whip various foods and liquids, as well as operate kitchen equipment.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and damp conditions.
Work Schedule

Day shifts, evening shifts, holidays, and weekends may be required.
