Job Summary
TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse to fill a travel nursing position in New York. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a team of dedicated professionals.

Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary, estimated at $120,000 per year, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Additional benefits include weekly pay, guaranteed hours, continuing education opportunities, a 401(k) retirement plan, sick pay, wellness and fitness programs, referral bonuses, employee assistance programs, medical benefits, dental benefits, and vision benefits – all starting from day one.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have experience working in a PCU setting and be able to provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a current RN license, valid certifications as required by the facility, and a strong background in PCU nursing. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also essential for success in this position.
