About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Purchaser to join our team at Eclipse Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for the global procurement of technical production materials, taking into account multiple factors.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage global supply chains to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
  • Develop and implement sustainable purchasing strategies that align with our company's goals and values.
  • Qualify and develop existing and potential new suppliers both domestically and internationally.
  • Participate in supplier selection, qualification, approval, and conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance with our standards.
  • Negotiate supply contracts and quality assurance and framework agreements to secure the best possible terms.
  • Collaborate closely with our design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction measures and conduct value analyses to optimize our procurement processes.
Requirements
  • A completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable technical education.
  • Initial professional experience in purchasing, preferably in a similar role.
  • First-hand experience in purchasing technical parts, as well as knowledge in supplier selection, evaluation/auditing, and developing new sources of supply.
  • Basic knowledge in project management, experience with SAP/R3 or S4, and fluent English language skills.
  • An analytical, conceptual, and goal-oriented approach to work, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
