Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with customer, internal, ISO 9001, IATF16949, VDA, and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices and systems to enhance operational performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team to develop and implement process flows, FMEA's, control plans, and FTP from initial versions through production versions.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to develop and maintain product/process requirements.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve internal and customer-identified issues, ensuring deadlines are met and using standard reporting tools.
  • Communication: Act as an organization representative, visiting customer and vendor facilities, and corresponding with customers concerning audit results and technical matters.
  • Talent Development: Develop and upgrade the talent of the operational quality team.
  • Cost of Quality: Maintain the Cost of Quality process and drive improvement on this metric.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality management capacity
  • Experience within the automotive industry and with the IATF 16949 quality system
