We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to play a key role in our Master Data Management (MDM) transformation. This individual will be responsible for gathering business requirements, facilitating workshops, and working closely with offshore teams. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of collaborating with multiple teams across the organization to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into IT requirements.
  • Incorporate stakeholder requests into the product roadmap while aligning efforts with business strategies.
  • Lead the grooming and management of the product backlog, prioritizing items based on evolving requirements.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
  • Create and execute test plans to ensure product quality.
  • Oversee all stages of the requirements implementation process, including design and development.
  • Perform business and system process analysis to drive quality improvement and ensure data reliability and validity.
  • Produce necessary analysis documentation (requirements/use cases, sequence diagrams, process diagrams, UAT plans).
  • Actively participate in scrum meetings, PI planning, and status updates.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress throughout the requirement lifecycle.
  • Manage business relationships and ensure transparent communication regarding project activities.
  • Provide leadership by sharing insights, articulating ideas, and offering solutions to senior leadership and team members.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and tools related to Product Master Data Management (MDM).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst with system development experience in Master Data Management (preferably Product MDM).
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with requirement gathering, process modeling, and documentation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, including offshore teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile principles and processes; CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle PD is nice to have.
  • Product MDM experience is a significant plus.
